Tick tock — these Cyber Monday watch deals are selling out fast

We've finally made it to Cyber Monday! No more speculating about whether there are better deal prices on the horizon: the Cyber Monday smartwatch deals today are undoubtedly the best you'll see for the rest of 2023. If you need a smartwatch or fitness tracker, now's your last chance.

Several of our favorite watch deals have begun to sell out in certain sizes and colors (or go out of stock entirely). Thankfully, you can still find great deals like 38% off the brand-new Fitbit Charge 6, $350 off the premium Garmin Epix Gen 2, or $70 off the Apple Watch Series 9.

As Senior Wearables Editor for Android Central, I've tested dozens of watches this year from Samsung, Apple, Garmin, Fitbit, Polar, COROS, Amazfit, and others, using everything from Wear OS to watchOS. I've curated my list from the best Android smartwatches or fitness watches available, so you know you're getting quality as well as low prices.

Without any further ado, these are the best Cyber Monday watch deals still standing!

Newest Cyber Monday watch deals

Most of the deals below have been around since Black Friday, so you may skim past them. These picks are for watches that only just got a deal on Cyber Monday, if you've been waiting for a specific brand.

Google Pixel Watch LTE: $400

Google Pixel Watch LTE: $400 $250 at Amazon

Getting a cellular-enabled smartwatch is an expensive proposition at the best of times, even before you add it to your cellular plan. Grabbing the first-gen Pixel Watch LTE will save you $150 compared to the Pixel Watch 2 LTE, with a fairly similar experience and years of software support to come.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic 47mm: $429.99 $348.99 at Amazon

The Watch 6 and 6 Classic share all the same software tricks and hardware specs, except that the Classic is heavier thanks to the stylish stainless steel. So why upgrade? Aside from its "classic" look, this model brings back the rotating bezel for more exact physical controls, which we really enjoyed in our testing. Again, we've yet to see the price dip this low, so no reason to wait if you want one.

Cyber Monday FAQ

Who has the best smartwatch deals during Cyber Monday?

Most major retailers copy one another when it comes to deal prices. You'll usually see the same deals across all sites for Cyber Monday, with rare exceptions. Amazon likes to lower the price by $1-2 compared to other sites to look the cheapest, if that matters to you.

You can also look at watch brands' own sites for deals. They may not be better than what you'd find on Amazon, but you may also find accessory deals there; Fitbit has watch band sales there that aren't available anywhere else, for example.

Should I buy a fitness tracker or smartwatch?

Whether you should buy a fitness tracker or smartwatch comes down to you, your budget, and how you plan to use your new device. As wearable technology advances, the distinction between smartwatches and fitness trackers is becoming increasingly blurred. Tech companies and smartwatch producers alike are introducing high-tech devices that are basically computers on your wrist, while even the simplest fitness trackers now have features like GPS and voice assistance.

If you just want a device that will take your workouts to the next level, save some cash and buy a fitness tracker like the Fitbit Charge 6. If, on the other hand, you want something comprehensive that will unite all of your personal tech and help you manage every aspect of your life, then a smartwatch like the Galaxy Watch 6 is just what you need.

How do I choose a smartwatch?

iPhone and Android phone users might lean toward Apple Watches or Wear OS watches, respectively, since they give you the best phone-to-watch integration. But in the case of Android, you may want to specifically choose Pixel or Galaxy Watch depending on which Android phone you use; Samsung's watches have features that don't work with non-Samsung phones, for example, while Pixel products sync well together.

Whichever phone brand you use, you may want to choose a fitness watch instead of a traditional smartwatch. They don't have the same level of smarts, but they last for weeks instead of hours, guide you on your workout routine, and still at least display notifications. The Garmin Venu 3, for example, has serious fitness tools but also a mic/speaker, music storage, voice assistant controls, and other "mainstream" tools to appeal to more casual users. It's the best fitness smartwatch available.

Overall, I'd focus on these aspects when choosing a watch: Battery life, health sensors, weight and comfort, display brightness and resolution, and stylish design for your preferences.
